Integration Issues
Fixes for the most common Square, Acuity, Google Calendar, and Calendly problems. Vendor-specific detail lives in each integration's own guide — this page is the quick triage list.
The assistant greets callers, then goes silent
This almost always means the connection to the booking integration failed at the start of the call. Check:
- Integrations page — is the integration showing as connected? If it shows an error, reconnect it.
- Did you recently change your password or revoke app access in Square or Acuity? That invalidates the connection — reconnect via OAuth.
If it persists after reconnecting, contact support with the time of the call.
My services aren't showing up (or a new service is missing)
The connection state and service catalog cache for a few minutes. If you just added a service in Square or Acuity, give it up to five minutes, then try again. Withdrawn or hidden services are deliberately never offered.
Square: "payment link" features aren't working
Payment collection needs three things:
- The SMS add-on with a verified toll-free number — links are delivered by text.
- A payment mode selected in the Square integration's Payment collection card (it defaults to None).
- A recent Square connection. If you connected Square before late July 2026, your connection predates the payment permissions — disconnect and reconnect Square once, and payment links will work.
Square: bookings arrive as "pending"
Your Square store is set to review booking requests. The assistant tells callers the request is pending — switch Square to automatically accept bookings for instant confirmations.
Square: a service can't be booked by phone
If the service has a cancellation or no-show fee in Square, Square's API blocks any booking made outside its own online flow. Remove the fee, or leave that service online-only — the assistant will direct callers there.
Acuity: packages aren't being offered
The Selling packages & memberships card requires:
- The toggle switched on (it's off by default)
- The SMS add-on (links are texted)
- An Acuity plan that includes packages (Growing or higher)
- At least one visible, available product in your Acuity catalog — hidden or unavailable items are never offered
Acuity: a required intake question is breaking bookings
File-upload and signature fields can't be completed by voice, and a required one blocks the whole booking. Either make the field optional in Acuity, or pre-answer it in the Intake form answers card so the assistant fills it silently.
Calendly: booking fails at the last step
Calendly booking requires the business to be on a paid Calendly plan. Availability reads fine on the free tier, but the booking call itself will fail.
When you contact support about an integration
Include: which integration, the caller's number, and roughly when the call happened. We can pull the exact call and see what the booking system returned.
