Message Examples

Ready-to-adapt SMS copy for common business scenarios.

How messages are composed today: Voka does not yet send templated, scheduled messages on its own. Today your assistant composes messages live — during a call (in-call SMS) or as a two-way reply — using your SMS Link Library and SMS Display Name. The examples below are useful as a guide for the tone and content to aim for, and for the day automated confirmations and reminders ship (coming soon).

The [Bracketed] items below are placeholders you fill in — they are not auto-substituted variables. Keep every message under ~160 characters where you can, and always include your business name.

Writing Good SMS Copy

1. Match your brand voice — formal or casual, but consistent.

2. Include the essentials — what the customer needs to know and how to act on it.

3. Keep it concise — under ~160 characters fits one segment; longer messages cost more.

4. Lead with your business name — set it once as your SMS Display Name on the assistant's SMS tab.

5. Let the footer do its job — Voka appends "Reply STOP to opt out." automatically; don't add your own opt-out text.
